    ORIENTAL SESAME SALAD

This is by far my most favorite salad! I could eat it for days and be perfectly content in my salad loving world. It’s a recipe my mom has used for years, so I have no idea where she originally got it or who to credit for it. But whoever you are . . . THANK YOU!

It is SUPER easy and quick to throw together.

    Recipe-Ramen-Salad

    1 head Nampa cabbage, chopped

    1 bunch green onions, sliced

    1 can Mandarin oranges

    1 tbsp butter

    1 tbsp sesame oil

    1/2 c. slivered almonds

3 pkg Ramen noodles, broken up

    1/4 c. sesame seeds

    DRESSING:

    1/2 c. vegetable oil

    1/4 c. sugar

    1 tsp salt

    6 tbsps rice vinegar

Add the Nampa cabbage, green onions and oranges together in a medium to large bowl. Sauté slivered almonds, Ramen noodles and sesame seeds in butter and sesame oil. (Add sesame seeds last.) Add to salad. Combine oil, sugar, salt and vinegar to make the dressing. Add the dressing just before serving. Mix all ingredients together.

    And DONE!
